Vivan Tafor - Organisation Chairperson
Vivan is a Housing Officer who has put in more than 8 years of experience working with people who had been involved in various acts of crime and many of whom had been in and out of jail numerous times. He had experience working with people who had misused drugs and alcohol, been involved in burglary, theft, carjacking, just to name a few. As a result of the high levels of crime in our community, Vivan is worried but also passionate about helping in whatever way possible to prevent crime as well as helping people to turn away from crime
Edith Ngwa – Organisation Treasurer
A trained Social Worker with years of experience working as a ‘Troubled Families’ Coordinator. Currently working as a Social Care officer. Some of her service users have been involved in crimes such as grievous bodily harm (GBH),burglary, supplying drugs, theft, drugs and alcohol misuse, etc. Her Social Work training and previous roles in the related fields and desire to support people stay away from crime, has abundantly equipped her to be part of this organisation.
Prisca Tafor – Organisation Secretary
A trained Social Worker with years of experience working as a ‘Troubled Families’ Coordinator. Currently working as a Social Care officer. Edwin Che – Organisation Volunteer Coordinator
Edwin currently works for SIEMENS as a Supply Chain Manager (SCM). He has worked with this organisation for 9 years during which he has been heavily involved with the Charity arm of the business. Siemens’ charity wing focuses on reaching out to the communities, supporting them with activities that help to improve the environment. He also has a passion to see individuals develop themselves by equipping them with self-reliant skill sets, via education, training and or apprenticeships; which can improve their chances of employment, a better lifestyle as well as contribute positively to the economy. Another area that is close to Edwin's heart is mental health as he appreciates what poor mental health does to individuals in our communities.
